Cookie Policy

Last update: 26 March 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files placed on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. We use them only with your consent where required.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in three ways:

  1. Strictly necessary (essential) to remember your cookie choices and keep the site secure.
  2. Analytics (consent-based) through Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic, usage patterns, and site performance.
  3. Marketing (consent-based). We have not implemented personalised advertising at this time.

3. Cookies and similar technologies we use

Exact names can vary. Typical GA4 cookies include:

  • _ga to store a unique ID for returning visitors for up to 2 years.
  • gameasurement-id to persist session state for GA4 for up to 2 years.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, as configured on this site, uses a JavaScript beacon to collect aggregate usage and performance metrics. Cloudflare states that this product does not rely on cookies or local storage for these analytics metrics.

We also set an essential cookie to remember your consent status for up to 12 months.

We do not use advertising cookies or share data for third-party marketing.

On your first visit, we ask for your consent for analytics. GA4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics do not run unless you opt in.

You can withdraw or adjust consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer or by clearing cookies in your browser.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break some functionality.

Some users may also choose to install Google's Analytics Opt-out add-on.

6. Data processed via analytics

When enabled, GA4 collects pseudonymous data about your interaction with the site, for example page views and approximate region. IP addresses may be used to derive region and then truncated or discarded according to Google's current implementation.

When enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregate usage and performance data such as page views, page path, referrer host, browser, operating system, device type, country, page-load timing, and Core Web Vitals.

See the privacy policy for legal bases, processors, and retention.

7. Updates

We may update this cookie policy if we add or remove cookies or change vendors. Check this page for the latest version.

8. Contact

Use the contact form on the site if you have questions about this policy.
